Reducing pressure spring
Classification:
Details
The compression spring is a kind of spring, which generally refers to the direct compression spring with a circular cross section, and is one of the commonly used mechanical elastic elements. Compared with the extension spring, the compression spring has a wide range of applications in mechanical design. The structure of the compression spring is mainly composed of cylindrical or conical elastic material, such as round steel wire. Fixed elements are installed at both ends of the spring, and pressure is applied to shorten or axially compress the spring to generate resilience. Compression springs usually have a longer free length and a smaller spring constant, and can reach a larger pressure range than tension springs. Some mechanical devices also require special compression spring structures, such as variable stiffness, cone, disc, etc.
